Camp Family

We also operate camps Merri-Mac for Girls and Timberlake for Boys.  Since 1945 Merri-Mac and Timberlake have provided summers of fun and growth through traditional camping and outstanding Christian staff.  Located high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, we provide exceptional instruction in riding, backpacking, tennis, rock climbing, fencing, canoeing, kayaking, archery, riflery, paintball, mountain biking, fly fishing, ropes course, swimming, diving, guitar, soccer, volleyball, rafting, art, dance, chorus, drama, rocketry, gymnastics and much more.
Like Black Mountain Expeditions, Merri-Mac and Timberlake are operated by the Boyd family.  After 65 years of running camps together we still have as much fun as our campers.  With our third generation now beginning as campers our family is dedicated to providing summers of fun and growth to camp age children.  We hope your child will be able to join us for a summer of adventure.
